Updated Fantasy Baseball Starting Pitcher Rankings
An updated look at my top 146 starting pitchers for fantasy baseball
As the offseason, spring training, and the season itself continue I’ll be frequently updating my rankings. Not all updates will be major, some days maybe only a couple of guys move a few spots, others will be a bit more major. With this being my first update in awhile this one is fairly big.
Tylor Megill of the Mets was the biggest raiser, moving his way into the top 100 with his opening day rotation spot being all but a lock. A few more guys rose and fell a decent amount as well. Spring training performance does account for some of the rankings adjustments, but not in a “he hit a couple home runs” type of way. I dive more into swing speed, contact metrics, and base running when adjusting for spring training. Things that make a more tangible impact in season.
