I know I’ve stated in the past that the waiver wire is my favorite article to do every week, but these pitcher streaming articles are quickly closing the gap. I have so much fun researching these and putting them out, and they’ve been very successful so far as well. The early week one turned out some pretty amazing results. Now, I know Gunnar Hoglund struggled in his start, but every other name on the list put up good numbers. Here’s to hoping we can recreate that once again to end the week.

For those of you who are new to these, each week I cover my favorite pitcher streaming options in two separate articles. The full articles of these are for paid subscribers only. I put out early week and weekend streaming options articles. My main focus is to find you the guys most likely to put up quality starts in their matchups. When streaming and targeting wins, you’re likely going to reach for lesser quality pitchers and pay the price on your ratios. When looking for quality start candidates, you have a much better chance at getting solid production out of each pitcher you start.

Now, without further ado, let’s get into it. Here are my two favorite streaming options for each day this weekend!

Despite it being in Coors Field, Colorado has struggled mightily against right-handed pitching. Their 26% strikeout rate and 72 wRC+ against them are amongst the worst in the league. With Schmidt coming off three consecutive quality starts, it’s hard to argue him not being the best option available on Friday. Start him with confidence.
